Some new apps that have been released in this period
Illogical Games (http://illogicalgames.blogspot.com) have released their game Block Invader. It was released on the 10th of October 2012. Priced at $0.99 or a lite version available for free from https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/block-invader/id564775713?ls=1&mt=8
Viima Games, a Finnish company started by ex-Nokia Employees, their first indie attempt at an iOS game, on a deeper thought, they did not think of making an app for the Lumina or the Microsoft Windows Phone brand of devices? The title is in Progress, but they have a Flash version (demo) at http://www.kongregate.com/games/ViimaGames/alone-in-the-tower
Balza Games (http://balzagames.wordpress.com) have released Spiteful Charlene, their offering which is available for both the iPod/iPhone and the iPad, a gameplay trailer can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eeku2cVMpeE
From the London based Vivid Games we have Gyro+, which is an old school style arcade game where you have to collect coloured flying balls by rotating the multi-coloured wheel to catch them with the matching colour.

21st Century Games have partnered with Maxim to offer Maxim Arcade, 3 arcade classic games, one of which involves "a pellet eating pie chart" amongst other two like Memory and Foosball. This is available for $0.99 and a demo video can be seen at http://youtu.be/Kq1XKaghdm4
David Sproch (www.davidsproch.com) have an app that offers an innovative way to take pictures, it is almost like the timer functionality in the older cameras which would allow you to press the shutter and run into the picture. With this app, you can set the device and then clap to take a picture, an interesting way to take pictures.

WorldWeaver Ltd have a new app called Dino Frenzy which is available for FREE. It is an app that is a card game with a video at http://www.worldweaver.com/ WorldWeaver is not new to gaming, it was formed in 1997 when they published a game called Beasts & Bumpkins published by EA.
Kwalee, a company we wrote about a while ago, created by the guys that used to be CodeMasters, comes a new app which has a rather odd name, it's called "Pussy Flip" it is free and can be found at https://itunes.apple.com/app/pussy-flip/id539922373?ls=1&mt=8
and finally, there is Don Juan from Guavegames of www.guavegames.wordpress.com another animal themed game, this time it is Don Juan the Squirrel and can be found at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/don-juan-squirrel-hd/id562837703?ls=1&mt=8
